Aguero: "This is a chance for my to change the league"

Wow, what a debut. 30 minutes on the pitch and Aguero certainly made an impact with 2 goals, an assist, and a hunger and drive that quite literally left me looking on open mouthed in wonderment with the thought that if this is what he can do when he's not 100% then what on earth is he going to be like when he is?

From the moment he stepped foot on the pitch he looked like the missing piece of the jigsaw slotting into place. His impact was similar to when Tevez is introduced into a game, only with the added ability to make other players around him look better also. This was especially evident with Dzeko as his own abilities appeared to perfectly complement those of Aguero and with Silva being the creative force behind them they have the potential to be the stuff of nightmares for every team in the league.

Speaking after his debut, Aguero said; "This is a team that is growing and developing and I want to help them do that. And this is a chance for me to change the league." Well he certainly changed the game, and if he can impact other games half as much whether he starts or not then we have a very special player on our hands.

No one would have expected a debut like that and I expected it would take him a few weeks before he's up to speed. Sergio feels that settling into the team and the league wont be much of a problem;

"This is a team with a lot of quality, I know it's a competitive league but we're here to win it in the end.

"I don't think I'll have too many problems settling into the team. In terms of technique, the English and Spanish leagues are similar."

Yes I'm sure we've all heard the 'it was only Swansea' lines, but you can only beat what's put in front of you, and Sergio definitely did that. Next up is Bolton Wanderers this coming Sunday who have enjoyed their biggest opening day win when they played QPR last weekend.

Will Sergio start on Sunday? Only Mancini knows that for now, but whether he starts the game of comes off the bench I can't wait to see him in the team again.
